Steph has over 25 years of experience in yoga and movement. Her understanding of yoga and the human body has been shaped by a lifelong background in dance and holistic health, as well as her own healing journey. Through her teaching, Steph helps students experience the joy of integrating mind and body while cultivating an authentic, life-nurturing practice rooted in breath, awareness, and presence. With her background as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Steph brings a grounded, compassionate approach to her classes with a strong emphasis on nervous system regulation, breath awareness, and embodied movement. She completed her 200-hour with Maty Ezraty, her second 200-hour training with Nancy Candea at Yoga Impact in New Jersey and her 300-hour training with Chris Loebsack. The perpetual student, Steph has studied with Leslie Howard, Travis Eliot, Bryan Kest, Donna Farhi and countless others. She has extensive training in pelvic floor yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, power yoga and accessible yoga. Steph was certified as a Grand Master of Meditation through Swami Vidyanand and Level One and Two Kundalini through Mehtab Benton. Most recently, Steph was certified as a yoga therapist through Dr. Jaime Stover Schmitt at Spanda Yoga Movement Therapy. After years of studio ownership, Steph founded the original online yoga school to remove financial and accessibility barriers to yoga education worldwide. Since then, Lifted Lotus has grown to support the entire journey of yoga teachers through training, continuing education, and daily practice. When she isn't on her mat, Steph can be found volunteering, enjoying time with her husband and children, dancing, and cooking. She previously served on the Education Committee of Yoga Alliance and places a strong emphasis on inclusivity in her teacher trainings.

Alecia Croft began her yoga journey as a way to help heal her body after having children. With consistent practice she experienced relief and was hooked. Not long after, she began her journey to become a yoga teacher. Having been a licensed massage therapist for over a decade she was excited to expand her knowledge and share yoga with her community. Focusing on alignment and helping others understand what happens within each pose, she enjoys teaching one on one personalized sessions. Alecia enjoys helping others learn anatomy with the online yoga school, she has been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Steph updating the 200 hour anatomy, writing the 300 hour anatomy, prenatal anatomy, and more. She enjoys writing and has published two books on anatomy and yoga.

LaToya Cooper is a registered yoga instructor and certified meditation & mindfulness teacher. Although yoga had been a long-time occasional practice, she discovered the healing power of yoga after beginning her spiritual journey in 2018. Determined to find balance and inner peace, LaToya began implementing yoga and holistic wellness practices into her daily life. Her journey led to a place of genuine contentment, self-love & acceptance. In May 2020 she completed her 200 hour teacher training at Yoga and Ayurveda Center. Soon afterwards she started Asanas & Wellness, where she shares tools to help others find their own inner peace. LaToya lives in the RDU area of NC with her husband and three teenage children. She has earned a BA in Psychology and an MBA. In her free time she loves to read, and create home decor crafts with her Cricut.

I'm Amy Iverson and I am originally from Ca, now in Northern Az with my husband Freeman and our pup ..loving it. I am 44 years old and have been practicing yoga since I was in my mid 20's. I am also an essential oil specialist and work with gems and crystals for healing purposes. Prior to this I was in the Medical field over 18 years. As I have gotten older I felt very drawn to deepen the practice and learn even more. What I have learned through Online Yoga School completely validated what I was wanting and needed. I have learned so much. I am very excited to be able to help others and pass on knowledge.
