  • What makes your yoga teacher training program different than other online yoga teacher training programs?

    We are very different than other online programs. Yoga & Ayurveda Center offers the same training online that we offer at our local yoga teacher training in person. Yoga & Ayurveda Center is an actual yoga studio and not just a large corporation capitalizing off an industry that they know little about. In addition, when you sign up for our online yoga teacher training, you receive many bonus offerings that other teacher trainings do not offer (see our current offers page!) Additionally, our online yoga teacher training offers you a different level of support than other online yoga teacher trainings. You can text, call, email or skype the lead trainer any time. She will take the time to speak with you one-on-one and answer any questions.

  • What device can I use to take the training?

    You can use ANY device, including smartphones, tablets, laptops or desktops..

  • How long does the training take?

    Our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Online is totally self-paced. You will complete it at your own pace. You have forever access to the material so you can take as long as you need.

  • Is this online yoga teacher training registered with Yoga Alliance?

    Yes, we are a Registered Yoga School and our training is registered with Yoga Alliance. You can see us in their directory under Yoga & Ayurveda Center.

  • Is this Online Yoga Teacher Training suitable for beginners?

    Our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Online program is safe and appropriate for beginners as it covers the basics of yoga and grows from there. However, we recommend that beginners move slowly and take the time to absorb the new information acquired. The online community element of our online teacher training program can be helpful for beginners.

  • Can I teach yoga anywhere, domestically or internationally, with the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification obtained online from this program?

    Yes. All you need to be eligible to work as a yoga teacher is a 200 hour certificate, and this is standard internationally.

  • Can I take this yoga teacher training online even if I don't want to teach yoga?

    Yes. Many people take Online Yoga School's 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Online to deepen their own practice without any intention of ever teaching a yoga class. Everyone is welcome.

  • What kind of support is available to me after I sign up?

    Our trainees have access to contact our founder and lead trainer, Steph. You will be provided with cell phone numbers and email addresses. Your calls, skypes, texts and emails are welcome anytime. In addition, we have online support groups so that you can connect with other trainees. We are partnered with BeYogi, the premier insurance company for yoga teachers. They offer special policies specifically for our students and graduates.
