As a mom of 5 and grandmother of 2, the practice and teaching of prenatal yoga holds a special place in my heart.
Pregnancy is a time of transition for women. There's a sense of heightened intuition and nurturing energy. Prenatal yoga is not only about the asana, but about uniting the mindful journey inside with the physical transitions on the outside. During this magical time, our students look to us to help them navigate these changes with grace and awareness, and we as yoga teachers are able to lead, support and connect with them. Throughout this process, we learn to unlock and harness our own divine, feminine energy.
