Beyond the Asana
Patanjali described the 8 limbs of yoga for us in his Yoga Sutras: Yamas, Niyamas, Pranayama, Asana, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi
Our 200 hour course focuses on the first four limbs of yoga: Yamas, Niyamas, Pranayama and Asana. In our 300 hour course, we are diving a little deeper.
We begin with expanding on the first four limbs and then we learn about the final four limbs: Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi. We then have modules on teaching methodology, trauma informed yoga and business of yoga before the Seva Project.
